Multi Genre
I read the one with the girl talking about all the disorders. More importantly though the eating disorder. You could tell that she was very passionate about the disorder. She had a bunch of poems in her paper and they all related to the disorders and told about them too. I cant wait to do this and explain a topic that I am passionate about. Right now im thinking about writing mine over teaching religion in public schools, and what the conflict is there.

Start Something that Matters
I was reading about the guy that had a helicopter fly a hose to transport water. He now has a way to treat a dying need for a lot of people. The hyperlink to this one is HERE. I also read another one that some guy has homeless people come make floors and stuff with their skills. And then there was one where he is a non profit beer joint. It is amazing what people can do with what they set their mind to.
If I did not have to worry about money i would spend more time with music. I would try and think of something different with music and change the way people listen to it and take more from it. I would want to do more work with people that are homeless. It breaks my heart every time I see someone on the side of the road homeless. I would get them off of the streets and build them a better life.

Crime in Springfield
Reading Response 3
The crime in Springfield has really increased in the last 5 years. Not only with robberies and break ins but also with murders. There are a total of 11 unsolved murders in Springfield going back to 2012. Springfield has some of the highest crime rate ratio to population. It has gotten pretty bad and is in fact increasing by the day.
In my opinion it is getting very scary and weird in a way. Just to see all these crimes happening in the place that i live. Like i always look at the big cities that have a ton of crime, and we are starting to become one of these. More then likely in the next 5 to 6 years its going to be like an every week thing that we see someone else got murdered. Now do i want to see that every other day? No.
In an article that I read there have been 6 homicides just in this month alone! Since they still haven't been able to recover some of the info they are unsolved, and that makes for 11 in the last 3 years. Its scary to know that some of these killers are still out there roaming the streets and anyone could be the next victim. This is why we need to straighten up and see if we cant stop this chain reaction.

Reading Response 4
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a big deal no matter what you're writing, how often you do it, when you do it, or where you do it. Taking someone else's words and saying that they were yours not only is bad to do, but is also kind of rude. How would you like it if you said a joke and someone took it and say they made it up? It is the exact same thing.
In my view yes it is very wrong, like at least say what website you got it from. I will admit that yes i have done this before, but that is also before i knew how wrong it really was. Now i at least list the websites that i use. I just can't believe that you would try to get away with it in college. They check your papers instantly now, especially in the higher colleges. No matter how good you think you are at trying to rearrange the words they will still pick it out.
This picture explains it all. When you plagiarize do you really feel good about yourself? No you feel good about yourself when you complete a paper that you wrote. All you get is that since of hope that your teacher doesn't find out that you did just copy and paste this. So just think before you copy that, is it really worth a 0? No nothing is worth that.

Spooky things happen everywhere
Every country has their superstitions, but every countries are different. Like in America some of our biggest superstitions are the number 13, and black cats. Therefore China has to have their own don't they?
One of Chinas big superstitions is being hit with a broom. It is said that if you hit someone with a broom, then the hitter has bad luck and will ruin their life. It is also said that if one had a dream about teeth or snow, then their parents are dead. Wow that would be awful if that would be true cause i have had dreams about snow before. So therefore people in China would automatically assume that my parents had passed away. Think about that for a second.
Another pretty weird one that I kind of agree with is if a baby cries for no reason then a ghost or form of something is around. That is kind of like the superstition that we have, they say if you wake up in the middle of the night around 3 or so then someone is looking at you. Chavez told me once that a lot of superstitions happen in the Chinese culture.

I think that superstitions to a point can be true. I do believe in the ghost thing just because I have always believed in that type of thing. There are also a lot of superstitions that are just made up and don't mean anything, but some do have actual reasons behind them.

Reading Response Number 2
The Fault in Our Stars
Last time in the fault in our stars I left you when Augustus told Hazel that he did indeed have cancer. Well Hazel wasn't too happy but she does tell him about her cancer. When she was 13 she had gotten thyroid cancer. She then got pneumonia in her lungs and about died when they filled up with fluids. Thanks to her doctor though she had drained them and survived.
Its Hazels Half birthday!! Hazel had plans that she was going to go with a friend to the mall. After this Hazel had a kid come up to her and ask her why she had a tube coming out of her nose. Then told him why. Hazel doesn't like the fact that she has half birthdays because it reminds her that she is not a normal teenager. So you want to know what happens next? Well you will just have to wait till next time.

Reading Response Number 1
The Fault in Our Stars
The Fault in Our Stars starts out as this teenage girl who is going through cancer treatment. Hazel the main girl is going to a social thing for cancer teenage kids, her mother thinks that it is appropriate for her to be there and meet new people. Hazel thinks otherwise until she meets this nice and cute boy Augustus Waters. Hazel says, 'I refuse to attend support group.'
Hazel thinks that Augustus is only there to be with his friend who is going blind because that is what he is telling everyone. But later we find out that he indeed does have cancer when they hang out. They are going to watch a movie, well on the way over to his house he is a bad driver. Hazel notices this and asked him if he even passed his driving test, he did but not so fairly. We then find out that his leg was amputated because of the cancer that he does have. So until next time find out what Hazels reaction was. The picture below shows Hazel smiling and talking to Augustus after she first met him.
